    • About the course

    We offer a 3-day CMR course directed towards SCMR level 1 accreditation. The course aims to deliver a solid background of CMR as a clinical application in routine clinical practice. During the morning lectures (very) basic MRI physics, background evidence, and how-to information on all major clinical applications (e.g. myocardial ischaemia, cardiomyopathies and heart failure) will be provided. In the afternoon group sessions cases will be reviewed and discussed. The course will conclude with some lectures on CT vs MR and a comprehensive self-examination exercise. This course will equip practicing physicians with a working knowledge on

  • when to refer a patient (indications, strengths and clinical role)
  • how to read a report
  • know the underlying evidence
  • when CT might be the better option

    • What do I get from the course

    Attendants will receive the theoretical part (teaching and cases). For complete SCMR level I accreditation the candidates will still need to fulfill the practical part, which includes one-month on-site training, and which can be done either with us in London or anywhere locally with an SCMR level III accredited supervisor.
